Fabrication & Plant

Practical fabrication, plant and installation support for marine and waterside projects
Bullo provides fabrication, installation and plant support for marine, civil engineering and waterside works. With our own workshop, equipment and experienced team, we can produce bespoke steelwork items, carry out practical site repairs, and provide plant-assisted installation where required.
Our work is often carried out in restricted, tidal, riverside or waterside locations where practical planning and adaptable working methods are required.
Fabrication & Installation
We can support both workshop and site-based fabrication works, including railings, ladders, frames, brackets, access platforms, fendering support items and other bespoke steelwork.
Where required, items can be prepared, shot blasted, painted and installed by our team. We can also assist with site measuring, practical design input and installation planning to suit the working environment.
Typical fabrication works include:
Railings, ladders and access steelwork
Frames, brackets and support structures
Pontoon, quay and jetty components
Fendering and mooring support items
Bespoke steelwork for marine and civil engineering projects
Site repairs and practical modifications

Plant & Equipment Support
Bullo operates a range of plant and equipment to support marine, waterside and restricted-access works, including excavators, Unimog-mounted HIAB support, winches, workboats, pontoons and specialist support vehicles.
Our plant and equipment is used to assist with lifting, moving, positioning and installation works in difficult-access locations, alongside supporting dredging, clearance, quay works, bank works and general marine construction activities.
With experience working across rivers, docks, harbours and inland waterways, we are able to provide practical plant support solutions for a wide range of marine and civil engineering projects.
Typical plant and equipment support includes:
• Excavator works
• Unimog and HIAB support
• Winching and pulling operations
• Plant and material movements
• Restricted-access support
• Waterside and riverside works
• Pontoon access systems
• Support for dredging, marine construction and maintenance projects
• General marine and waterside lifting operations
• Temporary access and positioning support
Bullo’s plant and equipment can be deployed independently or alongside our marine fleet to provide efficient, practical support for challenging waterside operations.

Practical Site Support
Many marine and waterside projects require more than one trade, vessel or item of plant. Bullo provides practical site support across a wide range of marine and civil engineering works, combining fabrication, transport, access solutions, workboats, pontoons and marine plant where required.
This allows us to respond flexibly to changing site conditions and deliver practical, workable solutions for harbours, docks, rivers, canals, marinas, landowners, contractors and local authorities.
Our practical support services can be tailored to individual project requirements and deployed as part of larger marine operations or standalone support works.
Typical support activities include:
• Debris and obstruction clearance
• Plant and material movements
• Pontoon and workboat support
• Temporary access solutions
• Waterside lifting and positioning works
• Restricted-access operations
• Marine fabrication and installation support
• River, dock and harbour maintenance works
• Support for dredging and construction projects
